SAN LUIS REY DOWNS
WOMEN'S GOLF ASSOCIATION
presents the
PARTNER'S ECLECTIC
January 31 & February 7, 2008
Maximum 10 Strokes difference in handicap between partners.
FIRST DAY
Keep score neatly on master card. Keep applicable handicap card. Two signatures are needed on each card, one from player, one from opponent. When finished, turn in cards to the committee in the breezeway.
No displaying of scores on tournament charts on the first day. No ringer during the tournament. Post "T" in the computer.
If you are unable to play the second day, notify major tournament chair. Last group bring in the money box and clip board.
SECOND DAY
Select and circle appropriate score and bring down to BB Gross and BB Net Box, one score in each box. In some instances, different gross and net scores may be used. If you are unable to help your partner, pick-up to speed play. For uncompleted holes, use the Equitable Stroke Formula for posting purposes.
Turn in cards as soon as possible to the committee so scores may be posted on the tournament charts.
Closest to the pin first day hole #8, closest to the pin second day hole #11. Last group bring in tape for closest to the pin.
Winter Rules: USGA does not endorse "winter rules" however, when the conditions of the course are so adverse throughout the course the committee believes "winter rules" would promote fair play and help protect the course. See rules.
Ties: In the event of ties, the following procedure will be in effect. Cards to be compared to determine the lowest score for the last 9 holes, if still tied, compare the last 6 holes, etc.
If partners exceed the 10 stroke differential requirement, the higher handicap player must come down to within 10 strokes of her partner, i.e. lose strokes.
Any questions about Rules should be referred to Gena Dells, SLRD Rules Chair.

Major Tournament Chair
